Bio

Bardia was born in Dubai, UAE, and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan which is where he calls home. He graduated with the highest distinction from the University of Michigan with a degree in Physics. During his time at the University of Michigan, he worked as a learning assistant and small group facilitator for the Department of Physics. He received multiple awards for academic excellence throughout his time at the university. After graduating, he worked as a nuclear physics research assistant at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for one year prior to matriculating to the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. In medical school, he taught and mentored Chicago area high school and medical students and pursued research in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology. He received a 266 on Step 1, a 277 on Step 2 CK, and scored in the 94th+ percentiles on all of his shelf exams. He was also awarded the medical student radiology award at his medical school. He is passionate about teaching and truly believes that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. He is about to start his general surgery intern year, after which he will begin his integrated Interventional Radiology /Diagnostic Radiology residency training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, basketball, video games, chess, playing guitar, dog-parenting, and watching Jeopardy! with his girlfriend.
