Bio

Braden is an Associate Director of MedSchoolCoach’s MCAT program and is currently a first-year medical student at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Spanish and Human Physiology.

He has tutored for MedSchoolCoach for 2+ years, taught Biology Supplemental Instruction during college, and is planning to graduate medical school with a Teaching Distinction Track. Braden is also working on his MBA at the University of Kansas, is a research assistant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and loves working out.

Braden enjoys teaching students and loves to watch them excel. He acknowledges diverse learning strategies and helps his students develop a growth mindset. He encourages students to begin the MCAT preparation process early so that they can balance studying with other aspects of life, and be best positioned for success.
