Elaine is currently a medical student at University of California San Francisco. She graduated with honors from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is passionate about social justice, health equity, and education.
Elaine has been tutoring and teaching for over nine years in a variety of roles and in a wide range of courses. As an MCAT tutor, she focuses on adapting her teaching methods to each student’s learning styles to ensure the material is easy to understand and they can apply their new knowledge on exam questions. She takes time to explore each student’s strengths so they can find the best skills and techniques suited for them. Additionally, Elaine helps students find balance in their lives as they study and prepare for the MCAT.
