Bio

Dr. Ndubisi was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he graduated with honors in 2008 with his bachelor’s degree in biology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he spent two years conducting cancer-related research. He then returned to North Carolina for medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in 2010. While there, he was heavily involved in peer mentoring and tutoring programs. Thereafter, he matched into the Emory University Surgery Residency Program, beginning his training in July of 2014. During residency, Dr. Ndubisi interviewed medical school applicants for the surgery residency program at Emory. He was also selected to interview faculty-level candidates for the program director position. Moreover, he sat on Emory University’s seven-member graduate medical education council, which represented the 1,200 resident/fellow trainees at the institution. Currently, Dr. Ndubisi continues in active general surgery practice.
