Eva was raised in New Jersey and attended Columbia University where she earned a degree in history. At Columbia, she wrote her senior thesis on the politics of pandemics in 18th-century America and won multiple awards for this work and for her involvement in student life.
At the University of Michigan Medical School, Eva has been involved in outcomes research and is interested in applying this work to improve health equity and inform health policy. She has also been involved in near-peer mentorship and admissions, adding to her previous experience tutoring and teaching students in subjects ranging from chemistry to reproductive health. Having received honors on all her clinical rotations, scoring above the 90th percentile on all her shelf exams, and earning a 278 on Step 2, Eva is passionate about helping students understand the fundamental concepts of medicine while simultaneously maximizing their test taking strategies.
