Jacob is an MD-PhD student at the Texas A&M School of Medicine, where he is currently studying novel molecular mechanisms underlying cardiac remodeling and fibrosis after myocardial infarction (MI). He graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University, where he majored in biology and minored in neuroscience. Since joining MedSchoolCoach in 2021, Jacob has spent hundreds of hours helping pre-med students surpass their target scores on the MCAT exam. His students have shown improvement in all areas, and he has helped multiple students achieve a score increase of 20 points or more!
As an MCAT tutor, Jacob builds an individualized study plan for each of his students and integrates content review, testing strategy development, and practice questions into his tutoring sessions. He believes that with proper short and long-term goal setting, detailed planning, and dedication, every student has the opportunity to succeed on their MCAT exam and excel in their future career as a physician.
