Bio

Jesse was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with honors in neuroscience. During undergrad, he participated in peer-tutoring in biology and organic chemistry as well as basic science research. He also enjoyed working as a teaching assistant for upper-level human physiology and neuroscience courses.

While enrolled at Penn State College of Medicine, he worked as an anatomy teaching assistant before going on to achieve honors on all clinical rotations. He received a score >260 on USMLE Step 1, >270 on USMLE Step 2, and scored above the 90th percentile on nearly shelf exams. He is preparing to enter his intern year as an orthopedic surgery resident at the University of Michigan. He enjoys golf, weight lifting, and playing on his rec basketball team in his free time.
