Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering, concentrating in drug delivery and biomaterials. He has conducted extensive research in organic synthesis and cellular brain implants. As an NIH Biomedical Engineering Education Research Fellow, he created an interactive traveling exhibit that introduced rural middle school students to biomedical engineering. At Cornell, he served as a teaching assistant for molecular principles of biomedical engineering, leading review sessions, guiding lab work, and supporting students through challenging concepts. He has also tutored high school and undergraduate students in STEM, designing personalized strategies to bridge knowledge gaps and spark curiosity.
