Dr. Bommareddy attended the seven-year accelerated physician-scientist BS/MD program with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. He graduated summa cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he was a junior lecturer in organic chemistry, physics, and finance as well as a private tutor for SAT/ACT and college prep. He later attended Albany Medical College, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and graduated cum laude with excellence in clinical skills.
Dr. Bommareddy has extensive basic science and clinical research in oncology, vascular sciences, and dermatology. He has mentored high school students in college preparation and pursuing careers in STEM. He was also a senior student advisor with Albany Medical College’s office of admission, where he conducted interviews and mentored prospective students on medical school admission. Dr. Bommareddy currently practices as a resident physician pursuing a career in dermatology.
