Katie is an MD-MHS student in her 4th year at Yale School of Medicine. At Yale, she is involved with bioethics education and volunteers with the HAVEN Free Clinic. She also conducts research on the use of novel neuromonitoring techniques to optimize cerebral blood flow after acute neurovascular injury. Prior to medical school, she graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in philosophy.
As a tutor, Katie helps students optimize their study strategies, develop strong comprehension of intricate subject matter, and understand the specific ways the MCAT will test their knowledge. Her goal is to alleviate stress for her students while helping them build the competence and confidence to achieve their goals on test day.
