Bio

After taking a Greek class during his sophomore year of undergrad, Kenneth decided to a B.A. in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). Afterward, he moved to Malaysia to begin a career in higher education. Knowing he wanted to teach in other places of the world like the Middle East, he then pursued an MA in English literature and language. His graduate research focused on postcolonial literature and examined the relationship between marginalization and subjectivity. During this time, he also was an adjunct for the English Language Institute. A colleague and him identified several challenges in the lower levels of the program, which led to them receiving a grant to develop a new curriculum for the lower levels.

Since then, Kenneth has enjoyed using his MA in English during his over eight years of teaching English to university students around the world, including the United States, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. He believes that patience, curiosity, and belief in his clients are essential to maintaining quality work and good relationships throughout a cycle.
