Paarth was raised in Cupertino, California and graduated from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a degree in Biology. While at UCSD, he was an active member of student council and participated in several research projects, from which he published several research papers. He was a Biology and Chemistry tutor during his time here.
After graduating from UCSD, he attended St. George’s University School of Medicine. While here, he was a hired tutor through the Department of Educational Services and taught other medical students in Neuroscience, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Genetics. He scored a 252 on his USMLE Step 1 and a 248 on his USMLE Step 2 CK. He also received honors in all of his clinical rotations and scored above a 90th percentile on all NBME Shelf Exams.
In total Paarth has over 10 years experience in teaching a wide variety of subjects, including both undergraduate and medical school courses. He is passionate about teaching and believes that with the proper guidance, every medical student is capable of achieving their full academic potential and pursue the dream career of their choice.
Paarth will be starting his residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers University this year, where he will continue to pursue his dream of becoming an Interventional Cardiologist. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, binge watching Netflix TV shows, and going to the gym.
