Dr. Dutta completed a seven-year combined BS/MD program following high school through the College of New Jersey, where he graduated magna cum laude, and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He tutored fellow students in a variety of subjects throughout college. In medical school, he tutored both medical and high school students in his hometown. Between his third and fourth years of medical school, Dr. Dutta completed the leadership and innovation fellowship training (LIFT) program through the department of urology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, where he performed clinical and translational research on new technologies in urologic surgery. After receiving his medical degree, he began his residency in urologic surgery at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina.
