Samuel is a student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he studies neuroscience. At UCLA, his research interests include studying the evolution of the opioid system in hagfish. As a tutor, he focuses on science learning that is motivated by a desire to understand more than memorize, whether in high school or college. When it comes to the MCAT, he fosters an environment where critical thinking skills are key, and supported by a strong foundation in the sciences.
