Bio

Simon was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Washington University in St. Louis where he pursued a B.S.B.A degree in in finance and a minor in biomedical physics. While at Washington University, he spent two-and-a-half years mentoring emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and teaching them advanced clinical skills. After graduating, Simon attended the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, where he received an M.Phil in translational biomedical research. He then matriculated at Harvard Medical School, where he has received highest honors in all of his clinical rotations, published four papers in peer-reviewed journals, and served as principal investigator on a grant-funded research project. Simon scored a 262 (84th percentile) on his USMLE Step 2 Exam.

Simon is passionate about mentorship and teaching. He served as a teacher’s assistant at the University of Southern California, Stem Cell Core, where he taught undergraduate and graduate students laboratory techniques and stem cell biology. He is currently a fourth-year, joint M.D./M.B.A. student at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
