Stephanie grew up in Florida and graduated with honors from Florida State University with a bachelor of science degree in international affairs. During her undergraduate years, she demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities as the student body vice president and director of the Asian American Student Union, where she guided and supported students in their academic and professional development.
At the University of Michigan Medical School, Stephanie is involved in health policy and health services research. She has also tutored for shelf and in-house exams. She honored all her clinical rotations and scored >260 on Step 2. Stephanie is passionate about helping students understand fundamental medical concepts while developing strong analytical and test-taking strategies.
Currently, Stephanie is preparing to apply into ophthalmology residency. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, cooking, and hanging with her two cats.
