Ujwal is a medical student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine where he is interested in cardiology and digital health. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. During his undergraduate career, he was involved in research, including exploring applications of machine learning for extracting EHR data and evaluating a medical education program. He also enjoys writing and has had his work published in academic journals and his college newspaper.
Ujwal is passionate about teaching and has served as a tutor, teaching assistant, and debate coach in college. He delivers clear explanations for concepts, builds critical thinking skills, and fosters an encouraging learning atmosphere. His approach to the MCAT encompasses creating a strong foundation of content knowledge, practicing strategies for MCAT-style questions, and building speed and accuracy for test day.
