Divya graduated from Northwestern University with her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a minor in data science. As an undergraduate, she worked in a lab specializing in neurological networks and neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, she is working on a paper relating to this work, helping her decipher and answer questions about complex scientific passages.
Divya has also volunteered as a tutor for low-income youth, where she learned to tailor her approaches to each student’s needs. She studied for the MCAT while taking classes, so she is capable of helping students find a balance between preparing for the MCAT and other commitments. She hopes to start medical school in the summer or fall of 2025.
