Dr. Mehta graduated cum laude with a double degree in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics and Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has extensive experience in teaching students as an undergraduate facilitator for numerous leadership conferences. She graduated from the George Washington School of Medicine where she taught first year medical students’ physical exam and ultrasound skills. Dr. Mehta also has experience interviewing applicants for admission to medical school. She worked at the FDA as a researcher in the immunobiology branch and has several research interests in the field of Radiology. She is currently a radiology resident at the University of Texas Southwestern where she will be serving on the admissions committee for her residency program.
