Dr. Thomas is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician in South Florida.
She majored in Mathematics and Political Philosophy as an undergraduate at Brown University. After graduation, Dr. Thomas worked in the field of public health and pursued a MPH at Columbia University with a concentration in Health Policy/Management. She was a non-traditional medical school applicant, completed a post-baccalaureate program and matriculated at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Thomas completed her residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, IL where she served as Chief Resident her final year. She continued her training at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami with a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine.
Dr. Thomas currently works in private practice as a hospital based Physiatrist.
