Richard Pierre graduated from the University of Michigan with a doctorate in Comparative Literature. With an academic background in foreign languages (concentrating in German and Russian), he studied abroad in both Berlin and St. Petersburg. Richard taught for several years at the college level, in subjects including writing, German, and Great Books.
Afterward, he gained experience in admissions and advising, helping students with a wide range of interests strategize paths to academic, professional, and personal success. He has since worked as a consultant assisting applicants to colleges, medical schools, law schools, fellowships, and other programs.
