Zach Morgan was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. He graduated as valedictorian from Longwood University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He also played collegiate soccer there. During college, he tutored organic chemistry and worked as an EMT, later gaining additional experience as an ER technician for three years.
In medical school, Zach performed strongly in both preclinical and clinical coursework, earning a 264 on the USMLE Step 2, a 677 on COMLEX Level 2, and scoring above the 90th percentile on most shelf exams.
Zach is passionate about teaching and helping medical students develop effective study strategies to reach their goals. Currently, he is a fourth-year medical student applying to diagnostic radiology residency. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his dogs, surfing, and being outdoors.
