How We Are Different

We only hire Physician Advisors with admissions committee experience. The people conducting your actual interviews will be physicians, so those helping you prepare should be as well.

Anytime, Anyone

You have complete control over who conducts your session and when. Choose from many Physician Advisors with extended weekday and weekend hours.

Experience

We have served thousands of students and logged over 500,000 advising hours. No one has more experience with helping students than we do.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We have created a simulation and mock exam that is similar to the platform that Altus uses for the Snapshot interview. The sample test was created by physicians with admissions committee experience.

It's doubtful that Snapshot will replace an actual interview (whether virtual or in-person) once COVID risks subside. More likely, Snapshot will become a screener to determine whether students move forward to the formal interview stage. Considering this, a strong performance is crucial.

It's best to prepare for Snapshot like you would an actual interview. You should have an idea of the questions that will be asked and how you would approach them.

Yes! Our Physician Advisors will review your video answers and then provide you with specific feedback on how you answered each question and how you can improve.

No. Our simulated interview can only be taken once, just like the real Snapshot interview.

Yes! All of our MedSchoolCoach Physician Advisors are physicians with admissions committee experience. That means the evaluation they provide will be similar to the one a medical school will use for your Snapshot interview.

The sample interview includes six questions, allowing you ample preparation for the three asked in the real Snapshot.

Yes, we'll provide you written feedback but we'll do even better than that. You'll have verbal feedback with your physician advisor as well where he or she will provide you one-on-one coaching.

Yes, you will receive a document with links to all your videos.

All programs you add to your Casper Test distribution list will have access to your Snapshot responses. However, this does not mean all of those programs will be using Snapshot for admissions decisions. One program may decide they do not want to review Snapshot and another program may decide they do want to review Snapshot as part of their admissions process this cycle.

Yes! Once you sign up for a feedback session, we will send you instructions on how to record it.
